Okay , first you need to know is personnel Function ? Personnel function is the plan about compensation , development , relations in the company specially in human resources .

There are 3 elements that you should know in personnel :
1. Organization , The system that rule the human that work on it.
2. Job , The position , specialize, skill that people should fill on the company / in some business.
3. People , The core of the organization because this things will determine your company can perform well or not ?

Okay done with that , Now we talk about the PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT FUNCTION .

1. Human Resources Planing.
2. Analysis and design work.
3. Recruitment.
4. Employee selection.
5. Orientation training & Workforce development.
6. Performance Evaluation.
7. Provision of compensation.
8. Maintenance of manpower.

1. Human Resource Planing 
This things is about how you to planning to connect / link the companies strategy with the condition of the human resource itself. Our main focus here is the labor itself (HUMAN)
This is Environment that affects the availability of Labor :

- The economic environment
- The social environment
- The political environment
- Environmental law
- Environmental workers
- Environmental technology

2. Analysis & Design work
Job analysis
is about how you to determine these 3 things :
   - Job description : Give the small picture about what kind job is that, how much time that the employee should fulfill at that job and so far and so on .
   - Job specification : Set the minimum requirement for that job, to select the good candidate for your company .
   - Job evaluation : Do the evaluation to make fair wage system . 

3. Recruitment Recruitment is the activities to find and attract candidates for employment with the motivation , knowledge, skills and abilities that required . There are 2 kinds of recruitment base on the area/place.

1. Internal Recruitment : Do the recruitment inside the company
Example : Transfers, Promotions, & Re-employement of ex-employees.
2. External Recruitment : Do the recruitment outside the company 
Example : Advertisement, Employment Agencies, Educational, Recomendation.

4. Employee SelectionThis the process the processing for matching the people that want to apply job at our company , we do the selection to find the best of the best that is right to choose in our company .

5. Employees Selection ProcessSimply , the Employees selection process are : preliminary interview, written test, employment interviews, medical eximination, appointment letter

6. Orientation , Training, & Manpower Development
Orientation : How to make your new employee know their environment , the people that will cooperate with them and the others small things that they need to know to perform their job at maximum point .
Training : Training is about teaching the employee how to do something .
Development : is about teaching the employee to know how .
Why we need do all of these ? Because :
1. The need to improve the level of organizations
2. The need for the job level
3. Needs at the level of the individual or the individual
